The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a long service medal (PKL) presentation to 145 officers and rank-and-file personnel yesterday at the Mess Banquet Hall of RBPF headquarters in Gadong.
RBPF Commissioner Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, the guest of honour, presented the medals.
Also in attendance were RBPF Deputy Commissioner Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin, directors, deputy directors and senior officers.
The medals served as a recognition and appreciation of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Government to public servants in service for 20 years as well as a motivator for recipients to continue to serve the country. – James Kon
