Off-road enthusiasts head for Sarawak Jamboree

Eight vehicles from the Brunei Four-Wheel Drive Association Tutong left for Betong-Lunok Antu in Kuching, Malaysia to participate in the 7th Sarawak International 4×4 Jamboree. 

A flag off ceremony was held on Wednesday at the Mandian Puteri Gallery, Tanjong Maya Village, Tutong and officiated by Acting Tutong District Officer Awang Mohammad Sofian Bin Haji Basri.

The 18-member delegation is led by the association chairman Shaari Bin Haji Zunaidi.

The five-day jamboree begins on September 14 at Saradise Kuching, where the participants will make their way to Betong-Lunok Antu.

The event is organized by 4×4 Travel and Adventure club Sarawak (SAKTA).This year’s edition is called,  “Warriors Trails-The Journey.” Participants from other countries include Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia. – James Kon
