    Nurturing future Muslim leaders

    The fifth series of the Islamic Development Leadership Camp (K2P2I 5.0) for students and alumni of the Faculty of Islamic Development Management (FPPI) at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) was held recently to hone the participants’ leadership skills.

    After a welcoming remarks from programme Chairman Muhd Nur Amir Zakwan bin Bungsu, a speech was delivered by Dean of the FPPI Associate Professor Dr Anis Malik Thoha and a sharing session by Senior Assistant Professor of FPPI Dr Khatijah binti Othman on ‘Stretching beyond our comfort zone, expanding our horizons’.

    The camp is an annual programme that aims to explore Islamic leadership theoretically and practically based on the concept of Hablu Min Allah, Hablu Min An-Nas and Hablu Min Al-Alam in addition to producing competent, knowledgeable and visionary young leaders.

    The fifth series of the camp was held in collaboration with Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports at UNISSA campus in Gadong, Kampong Semabat in the Temburong District and Games Village.

    It was participated by 14 academics, FPPI officers and staff, and 62 Years 1-4 students and FPPI alumni. – Azlan Othman
