Some 400 people have embraced Islam from January to November this year.
Tutong District had the highest number with 155 people converting to Islam. This was followed by the Brunei-Muara District with 141, Belait District with 86 and Temburong District with 18.
Yesterday, an Iban woman converted to Islam at a ceremony at Annajat Complex in Beribi.
Chrisnee anak Chendang is now known as Nur Syifa Adriana binti Chendang.
The ceremony featured Dikir Marhaban, sprinkling of scented flowers and Doa Selamat.
Acting Director of Islamic Da’wah Centre Haji Ruslam bin Haji Sulaiman also attended.
