Norizan bin Haji Yussof won the men’s single category in the recent Brunei Darussalam Table Tennis Association (BDTTA) Open Tournament 2023.
Meanwhile, Sia Mee Mee emerged the champion of the tournament’s women’s single category.
The BDTTA Open Tournament 2023, held at Tutong Sports Complex, saw 101 participants comprising 88 men and 13 women during the preliminary round on September 3.
Wee Tzu Min finished runners-up while Pengiran Muhamad Wa’ie Sufiyan bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Saiffin and Goh Teck Chin shared third place in the men’s singles open category.
In the women’s singles open, Ting Siew Chien took the runners-up spot while Hong Hui Qin and Ling Yi Zhen finished joint third. – Fadhil Yunus
