No unauthorised aircraft, drones over Brunei-Muara District until January 16

The entirety of the Brunei-Muara District is declared as restricted airspace until January 16 as a security and safety measure, the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) announced yesterday.

Unauthorised aircraft, including drones (unmanned aircraft), are not allowed to operate over the district during the time, added the DCA.

Failure to comply with the regulation will be treated as a contravention to the laws and regulations of Brunei Darussalam, as outlined in Section 51 of the Civil Aviation Order 2006.

Those seeking further clarification may contact the head of regulatory at the DCA. – James Kon
