Fire and Rescue Department personnel extinguished a house fire that broke out in Jalan Sultan Hashim, Seria on Saturday.
Some 17 firefighters were dispatched from Seria and Kuala Belait fire stations led by Acting Assistant Superintendent Ajak bin Haji Jais.
The firefighters brought the fire under control in around 30 minutes.
The fire caused significant damage to the two-storey structure made of wooden walls, stone pillars and spandex roofs.
A van parked nearby was also exposed to the heat emitted from the fire.
All occupants were safely evacuated prior to the arrival of the firefighters.
