The number of COVID-19 patients in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit remains at zero while there are two cases in Category 4 receiving respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
Brunei also continued its streak of no COVID-19 fatalities in the past 24 hours.
These details were shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily report.
Some 228 cases were declared recovered yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 222,568.
Meanwhile, 84.7 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine while 61.2 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 were administered three shots.
The coverage rate of Brunei population with at least three shots of vaccine is 78.3 per cent while 10.2 per cent of the populace have been administered with the fourth dose.
