The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) handed over financial assistance amounting to BND45,200 to nine families whose houses collapsed, or were hit by fires during a ceremony at Yayasan Headquarters, Jalan Perdana Menteri yesterday.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, as Board of Directors for Yayasan and Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee, presented the financial aid.
Also present was Permanent Secretary (Planning, Land use and Environment) at the Ministry of Development Dr Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak as Acting Managing Director of Yayasan. – Rokiah Mahmud
