The Ministry of Education announced yesterday that the new building of the Sultan Hassan Secondary School in the Temburong District is now in use.
The new building replaces the previous facilities that were originally built in 1984 and had been used since 1986.
The handover of the new building to the ministry took place in February 20. The new building accommodates 714 students, 80 teaching staff and 16 support staff.
Facilities include an administration block, multipurpose hall, classrooms, a science laboratory, library, surau, canteen and dining hall, parking area, drop-off area, assembly area, covered walkways, and a football field.
