Boustead Commercial team yesterday launched its very first ‘24HR Volvo Action Service’ to provide roadside assistance service for Volvo truck drivers and owners in the Sultanate.
The launching ceremony was held at Serambangun Industrial areas, Tutong District, in collaboration with Aziz Latif Transport Sdn Bhd (ALTSB), one of the biggest local logistics and transportation companies in the country.
The Volvo action service vehicle is equipped with the tools and common spare parts for on-the-spot repair.
Response time is around one hour in Bandar area to 1.5 hours in Kuala Belait. A new service centre in Kuala Belait will start operation on the first quarter of 2025, and will have its own Volvo action service vehicle for coverage within Belait and Tutong districts.
“We are thrilled to add the service for the Volvo truck owners in the Sultanate,” said Boustead Commercial Division General Manager Alex Yong.
Meanwhile, contract manager Haji Md Amirul bin Haji Tarip said, “The service will guarantee immediate support for repairs and towing, ensuring peace of mind and maximising uptime.”
The event was hosted by Service Advisor Specialist of Volvo Trucks Brunei Herryson Benedict. Managing Director of Aziz Latif Transport Haji Azman Latif bin Haji Abdul Aziz was the guest of honour.
