The Faculty of Islamic Technology (FTI) at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) will offer three new programmes for its academic session 2024/2025 focusing on innovation and the development of technology based on Islamic values.
The three new programmes include Bachelor of Science in Islamic Data, Bachelor of Science in Islamic Digital Technology and Innovation; and Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Digital Technology and Innovation.
The FTI will also offer two more postgraduate programmes this year, namely the Master’s degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Islamic Digital Technology and Innovation.
Following the recent pandemic era which brought about an increasing demand for digital equipment and processes in the market, these programmes will meet the demand for a skilled workforce with digital expertise. The programmes aim to provide opportunities for students to explore new areas in e-commerce while identifying opportunities in techno-entrepreneurship and other significant fields in national development. – Rokiag Mahmud
