A cleaning campaign was held at the new Kampong Junjongan Mosque yesterday, where it aimed to ensure the cleanliness of the mosque before carpet installation.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan was present at the campaign. The event started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Kampong Junjongan Mosque imam Mohd Azri bin Abdullah @ Abdul Rahman.
The new mosque can accommodate approximately 1,600 congregants with various facilities to ensure the comfort of all visitors, including toilets for the disabled, places for ablution as well as ablution room for people with disabilities.
The mosque is also equipped with multipurpose rooms, mortuary management room, and parking, including parking specifically for people with disabilities. – Azlan Othman
