The Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA) held a launching ceremony for its programmes and activities at the KACA premises in Pekan Bangar, Temburong District.
KACA President Dato Paduka Haji Zainal bin Haji Momin officiated the event as the guest of honour. KACA Managing Director Haji Awang Abdul Alim bin Haji Awang Othman was also in attendance.
The programmes planned for the Temburong branch include early self-help initiatives to promote independence, early education in learning and studies, home visits as part of the ‘PDK’ home-based programme and briefings, workshops and seminars for parents and KACA volunteers. Additional activities include the KACA Sport Fiesta, local and international visits and the KACA Saving Project 2024-2025.
KACA Temburong, located in a block of government barracks in Pekan Bangar, serves 36 members. – Lyna Mohamad
