The Land Transport Department (JPD) has introduced the ‘Running Number Open Tender’ and ‘Holding’ features on the NomborKu service website.
The ‘Running Number – Open Tender’ allows the public to choose and buy vehicle registration running number through the process of online open tender.
Payment can be made online using a debit or credit card with a total of BND125 for the purchase fee and tender service charge for each vehicle registration number (VRN) offer.
The ‘Holding’ feature allows the public to make a holding of their VRN number online through the NomborKu website at a fee of BND20 for a period of one year of holding. Holding of the VRN is a process that allows people to keep the VRN they own if it has not been registered on the vehicle.
The minimum period for holding is one year and the maximum is 10 years according to the period chosen for each VRN.
The NomborKu service was introduced by the JPD for the public to obtain a VRN through processes that are offered entirely online.
The public can access the latest features through www.nomborku.gov.bn.
