The all-new WR-V, the latest popular crossover SUV from Japanese carmaker Honda arrived in the Sultanate following the official launch yesterday by Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of Honda at its showroom in Gadong.
Dubbed as the perfect crossover for urban living, the new Honda WR-V is designed to cater to the needs of the modern-day urban customer, seeking both style and functionality in their vehicle.
Guests and representatives from local financial institutions and media were present at the launch.
The WR-V features a bold and dynamic design, with a sporty front grille, LED headlights, and prominent bumper. The vehicle’s aerodynamic design provides better fuel efficiency and a comfortable ride, even on rough roads. It is equipped with advanced features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and keyless entry.
The WR-V has been awarded a five-star safety rating by the New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP). In its highest specification, the WR-V RS comes with six airbags, the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance systems like autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and lane keep assist, as well as the usual array of passive safety systems (ESC and ABS). The WR-V RS is the only variant available in Brunei market.
The Honda WR-V RS is powered by a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine mated to a CVT automatic transmission generating a maximum power of 121PS with a maximum torque of 145NM, and comes in four colours – Coffee Cherry Red, Stellar Diamond Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl.

Happy Motoring Co is offering an introductory cash rebate or direct discount for the first 60 units of All-New WR-V sold.
Meanwhile, the new WR-V will be unveiled at Happy Motoring’s Kuala Belait showroom today.
