“We aim to empower our students to become future leaders and innovators through initiatives like these new BTEC courses, driving positive change in society,” he said at the launch of two new courses yesterday to mark the opening of LCB. 2024.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah officiated the inauguration.
The open day, Subramaniam said, serves as a platform to showcase LCB college’s facilities, products and services to the public, prospective students and their families.
“It also helps visitors experience first hand the vibrant student life at the college.”
The new programmes – Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Certificate in Travel and Tourism and Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Diploma in Information Technology – offer those with ‘O’ Level an opportunity to pursue higher education in their desired career paths.
“These courses aim to provide comprehensive training and practical skills, enabling students to excel in their chosen fields,” he said. Following the speech, the minister officially launched the new courses. The minister also presented tokens of appreciation to the sponsors of the open day, which concludes tomorrow.
