By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it is announced that His Majesty has consented to the appointments of several senior officers.
Senior Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin to be appointed as Permanent Secretary (Youth) at the MCYS; Accountant General at the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) Hajah Chairani binti Haji Sulaiman to be appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary (Fiscal and Corporate) at the MoFE; and Head of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Action and Support Centre (FAST) at the Brunei Economy Development Board (BEDB) Mohammad Harris bin Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim to be appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary (Trade and Industry) at the MoFE.
Date of appointments of the officers are effective today, 18th of Zulhijjah, 1443 Hijrah corresponding to July 18, 2022.
