By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it is hereby announced that His Majesty has appointed Permanent Secretary (Security and Law) at the Prime Minister’s Office Datin Paduka Dayang Hajah Nor Hashimah binti Haji Mohammed Taib as Attorney General to replace Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmad bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Di-Raja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa.
The date of appointment of the said senior officer is effective from Thursday, 19 Syaaban, 1445, corresponding to February 29, 2024.
