The new NETA Aya was unveiled during a ceremony hosted by Berjaya Sdn Bhd, the local authorised dealer for NETA Auto, at its showroom in Menglait, Gadong yesterday.
The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Berjaya Sdn Bhd’s Managing Director Pengiran Irwan bin Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman and a presentation from head of sales Kelly Chin.

The electric vehicle (EV) stands out with its trendy aesthetics, available in five colours with three interior options, a sleek design, striking headlights and tail lights. It offers an impressive 401 kilometres range and a 70-kilowatt motor, with fast DC charging capabilities from 30 per cent to 80 per cent in 30 minutes.
Safety features include an all-around battery protection case and a high-strength cage body with top class battery management system.
The Aya boasts a 14.6-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple Carplay inside and the ability to use the car as a portable power bank through its vehicle-to-load (V2L) support.
It includes features such as pedestrian alert tone with various sound options and a built-in wireless charger. The car’s pastel colours and quirky design appeal to young, outgoing drivers.
