Seven hundred-and-forty-nine students were enrolled into Year 5 at Arabic schools nationwide on Saturday through virtual registrations.
A total of 329 male students were enrolled at Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School while 324 female students were registered with Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Preparatory School.
At Ma’had Islam Brunei in Tutong District, 28 female and 21 male students were enrolled while at Belait Arabic School, 22 female and nine male students have registered. At Temburong Arabic Preparatory School, six female and 10 male students have enrolled.
A Ta’aruf programme for the students was also delivered virtually.
The programme included an introduction on school culture, basic Arabic language, and health and discipline talks.
