Nationwide Tedarus comes to a close

The nationwide Tedarus Al-Quran came to a close at a ceremony at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien mosque in the capital on Saturday.

The tedarus was held in mosques, suraus and religious halls throughout Ramadhan.

Saturday night’s ceremony, organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ (MoRA) Administration Department, Mosque Affairs Department and mosque takmir committee members, was highlighted by a Tadabbur Al-Quran by Acting Deputy Ra’es of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) Dr Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha.

Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and spouse were present.

Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan and spouse; Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim and spouse; Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the MoRA Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim; Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Hardifadhillah bin Haji Mohd Salleh; and KUPU SB Ra’es Associate Professor Dr Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani were also present. – Azlan Othman
