A nationwide religious programme for religious and Arabic school students kicked off recently, beginning with a talk entitled ‘Wise and Just Leadership, Source of Enlightenment for the Nation’.
The programme aimed to inculcate educational values to the students and establish a disciplined, knowledgeable community. It also seeks to produce dynamic and effective leaders.
The programme began with the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah, Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
It was followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin to mark His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam 76th birthday celebration.
