Some 89 students from Belait Arabic School (SAB) attended a nationhood briefing programme organised by the Information Department through the Belait District Information Branch on Saturday.
The briefing ‘Our Monarch, Appreciating the National Flag and National Anthem of Brunei Darussalam’ by Information Officer Muhd Khairulhadi bin Haji Muhd Muhtaddir as the Head of Belait District Information Branch and information officer Zurairah binti Haji Lisa covered the monarch, the national flag and the history of the national anthem ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’.
The students also watched an animation video on flag-hoisting and participated in a national quiz to further increase their understanding of the briefing.
The programme fosters love for the monarch, religion, race and country, aimed to strengthen students’ solidarity, patriotism and nationalism.
