Brunei Darussalam taekwondo exponents Fadhli bin Muhd Fadhil and Muhammad Abrar bin Haji Bakar @ Muhammad Bisyukri bagged medals during the recently-concluded Shinsung University President’s Cup International Taekwondo Championship and the International Taekwondo Culture Championship both held in South Korea.
Fadhli secured the silver medal in the International Taekwondo Culture Championship and bronze in the Shinsung University President’s Cup International Taekwondo Championship.
His compatriot Muhammad Abrar sealed the silver medal in the Shinsung University President’s Cup International Taekwondo Championship and bronze in the International Taekwondo Culture Championship.
The two national athletes, under the supervision of Brunei National Head Coach Master Jeon Jeong Bae, underwent training in South Korea at Shinsung University from July 4 to August 11, 2022 as part of their preparations for next year’s Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Cambodia and the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
