The Porsche Enthusiasts Club (PEC) organised a ‘Luft Treffen’ Meet and Convoy to Belait District yesterday.
The convoy, comprising vintage and modern Porsches models, was supported by Rupes BigFoot Brunei and acknowledged by Porsche Brunei, QAF Prestige Sdn Bhd, Registrar of Societies of the Royal Brunei Police Force, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The journey began at a cafe in Kiulap with the first stop at the Jerudong Park Garden, where participants took a commemorative photo before departing for the restaurant in Belait.
PEC President Haji Zaidi bin Haji Md Daud led the convoy.
The convoy’s organising chairman and secretary Aqil bin Haji Ahmad said, “The event aims to enliven the 40th National Day celebration, and for Porsche owners and enthusiasts to share their passion for Porsche.
“It also represented an opportunity for the club to promote and showcase their activities and Porsches’ vintage and modern models.” – Daniel Lim
