The second series of nadwah on the strengthening of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah understanding was held at Tarbiyah Hall of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) on Wednesday.
Titled ‘Hukum Mengamalkan Tawassul, Tabarruk, Istigathah dan Selawat Dalam Syariat Islam’, the nadwah aimed to strengthen the understanding of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah as the religious doctrine in Brunei Darussalam.
It also aimed to enhance awareness on the importance of adhering to the Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah understandings, and practising its teaching in daily life and to remain steadfast to the teachings according to the al-Asha’irah Wa Al-Maturidiyyah schools.
The nadwah was facilitated by associate professor of the Ahli Sunnah Wal Jama’ah Research Centre Dr Muhammad Yusuf bin Khalid. – Rokiah Mahmud
