Myanmar to hold international agriculture exhibition in June

YANGON (XINHUA) – Myanmar will hold the 8th International Agriculture, Livestock and Fishery Show in its commercial hub Yangon in June, state-owned daily the Global New Light of Myanmar reported yesterday.

The exhibition, scheduled to take place from June 28 to 30 at the Yangon Convention Centre, will feature displays and sales of equipment and products in agricultural, livestock and fishery sectors, the report said. Additionally, seminars providing practical benefits to farmers will be organised during the event, along with a workshop on renewable energy, it said.

Local and international companies are expected to showcase and sell products like agricultural machinery, fertiliser, livestock feed, supplements and tools for fish tanks and fishing boats, the report said.
