A series of talks organised by the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) was held yesterday at several mosques in the country for Muslimah congregants on Tadabbur Al-Quran and Al-Hadith and the study of Kitab Turath.
At Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Kampong Katimahar, head of Muslimah Ratna binti Haji Abdullah said the programme is useful as it provides knowledge on the old Kitab Turath. The programme acted as a refresher on the study of the old book and to provide understanding of the content.
It was the first of its kind for Muslimah congregants, and was attended by 30 Muslimah.
Similar programmes were held at Kampong Tanjong Maya Mosque in Tutong District, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in RPN Kampong Mentiri, Kampong Kapok Mosque in Muara and Kampong Bengkurong Mosque.
