Six asnaf converts in the Brunei-Muara District received basic necessities from the Fathu Barakah 5.0 charity project yesterday.
The project, organised by the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI), is a means of dakwah and caring for the well-being of asnaf converts. The donation hoped to ease their burden during the holy month of Ramadhan and help with carrying out their fasting obligations.
PDI Acting Director Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman led the delivery of the donations, along with PDI Head of the Muallaf Development Division Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub and Nurul Islam Association President Haji Mohd Hazwan bin Abdullah.
The converts also received books from the Convert Guidance series. – Lyna Mohamad
