The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) through its Muallaf Development Division (Tarbiyah Muallaf) held the 105th series of the Advanced Guidance Scheme I for converts (male) certificate presentation and Closing Ceremony at the Mau’izzah Hall, Darul Huda Building on Monday.
Muallaf Development Division Head Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub presented the certificates.
Forty-three male participants from the four districts took part in the 14-day scheme, aimed at guiding converts in enhancing their knowledge on Islam, especially in prayer, faith and morals.
The scheme covered topics on tauhid, fiqh solat, fiqh Haj, fiqh munakahat, tasawwuf, muqaddam, amali, Islamic history and family understanding.
The centre provides guidance programmes for converts, which include Islamic Introduction Guidance, Mobile Guidance, Basic Guidance Scheme, Advanced Guidance Scheme I and II.
Converts can also attend the Muallaf Guidance classes held every Friday for Brunei-Muara District or when scheduled in Tutong, Belait and Temburong districts.
