Munajat Night highlights patience and faith in facing life’s tests

On Saturday, Pengiran Siti Norainul Fathni binti Pengiran Haji Tajuddin, a Religious Officer from the Spiritual and Community Service Unit of the Students Affairs Section at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), delivered an insightful Tazkirah during the Munajat night. She emphasised that every individual will face tests, whether minor or significant, and stressed that with steadfast faith and a resilient heart, any challenge can be met with patience and confidence, trusting that Allah the Almighty’s decrees are always in the best interest of His servants.

In her talk, Pengiran Siti Norainul highlighted various divine promises found in the Al-Quran for those who exhibit patience and perseverance in the face of trials. She urged everyone to be prepared—physically, mentally, and spiritually—to confront these challenges, drawing strength from Kalamullah and the teachings of the Prophet.

This weekly religious gathering, organiaed for the 151st time by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, was attended by women congregants for the 17th occasion. The event was graced by Dr. Hajah Asmah binti Haji Husaini, Deputy President of Dementia Brunei, who led the recitations of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah from the surau at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The evening included the recitation of Surah Al-Mulk, Doa Munajat, Asma Al Husna, and Doa Peliharakan Sultan & Negara Brunei Darussalam. Attendees comprised members of Dementia Brunei, academic staff and students from Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, mosque congregants from various mosques, and women workforce from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The Munajat night, organiaed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, invites the public to enhance their spiritual practices, seek forgiveness from Allah, engage with the holy Quran, and pray collectively for the safety and well-being of Brunei Darussalam and its residents.
