The weekly Munajat night entered its 42nd session on Saturday, which saw the participation of female officials from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE), the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), the State Mufti’s Office and mosque muslimah groups.
Joining the Munajat night was Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy Pengiran Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani; the spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Asbi and spouse of the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Norazimah binti Haji Ramlee as well as spouses of permanent and deputy permanent secretaries, senior officials and female personnel from the MoRA.
The Munajat night conducted online, commenced with the recitation of Sayyidiul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by Permanent Secretary (Vision, Finance and Cabinet) at the PMO Pengiran Hajah Siti Nirmala binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad. It was followed by the mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin led by Permanent Secretary (Policy and Fiscal) at the MoFE Hajah Norliah binti Haji Kula, Permanent Secretary (Economy) at the MoFE Dr Hajah May Fa’ezah binti Haji Ahmad Ariffin and Permanent Secretary (Performance and Corporate) at the MoFE Suraya binti Haji Jaidin.
Senior Istinbat Officer at the State Mufti’s Office Hajah Noraini binti Haji Buntar recited Doa Munajat. Religious Education Officer from Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Prepatory School Noorizah binti Haji Abidin delivered a tazkirah titled ‘Rezeki Sebenar’.
Director of Secretariat Tetap Wawasan Brunei 2035 at the PMO Dr Hajah Huraini binti Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Jaya Dato Paduka Haji Hurairah led the recitation of Selawat Ibrahimiyah, while the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah was led by Acting Assistant Director of Human Resources Development and Corporate Affairs, Hajah Rozaidah binti Haji Abdul Rahman. Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam was read by Mosque Affairs Department Officer Pengiran Hajah Alizah binti Pengiran Haji Mohd Tahir.
