The Munajat night organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) entered its 38th week on Saturday, participated by personnel from the Ministry of Defence and their families.
Congregants from 11 mosques and suraus under the Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) as well as Welfare Body of Muslim Converts of Kampong Kiudang (BASKIM) and 92 mosques, suraus and religious halls under the MoRA also participated.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud were also present.
The event began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Commander of the RBAF Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan from Surau Ad-Difa, MinDef.
It continued with the mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa Munajat seeking protection from Allah the Almighty against calamities and diseases.
A Tazkirah titled ‘Supremacy of Kalimah Tauhid’ was delivered by Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque Imam Mohammad Hilmi bin Yakop, followed by Asmaa Ul-Husna, Selawat Tafrijiyyah and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
