Munajat: Muslims are tested to their abilities

Muslims should persevere in the trials set by Allah the Almighty, said the religious speaker for the Saturday night Munajat.

Prisons Department’s assistant counsellor Fariszal bin Ali called on Muslims to not give up when facing trials set by Allah the Almighty, noting that the tests imposed based on one’s ability.

“As His servants, Allah the Almighty loves us very much,” said the religious speaker.

“The important thing is that we need to deal with the trial as best as possible, and then improve on all the deeds we do for the sake of Allah the Almighty.”

The 139th Munajat was organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA).

Acting President of Brunei Darussalam Pencak Silat Federation Haji Abdul Rajak bin Haji Md Dali attended the religious event along with members of the association, students of Youth Al-Quran Reading Scheme (STAR) at the Islamic Studies Department, mosque takmir committee members of Kampong Bengkurong, Kampong Kupang, and Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosques as well as congregants from nearly 75 mosques, suraus and religious halls.

Also in attendance were the MoRA workforce and their families.

The Munajat is a platform for the public to seek forgiveness from Allah the Almighty together, recite and appreciate the meaning of the verses of Al-Quran and as well as supplicate en masse for Brunei Darussalam and the people to withstand disasters and dangerous diseases. The public is welcome to participate in the Munajat event every Saturday night virtually through https://tiny.cc/munajatkheu or https://www.facebook.com/pdi.kheu. – Azlan Othman
