Munajat focuses on end of life

“Muslims should hope that their life will end with Husnul Khatimah (good ending).

“We are welcoming the new year and whether we realise it or not, our age increases every year. However, the most important thing here is how we will be at the end of our lives,” said Mohd Fahmi bin Haji Mat Nor, a religious preacher of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) during the weekly Munajat night on Saturday at the Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Mukim Kilanas.

“Do we know whether our end will be good or bad? Have we done enough preparations before life is taken from our body as it may come anytime, or anywhere?

“With that, we hope that we will be blessed with Husnul Khatimah,” he said.

Also present at the mosque was Acting Manager of Setia Protective Security Services Sdn Bhd (SPSS) Haji Abdul Rahim bin Haji Imran, who led the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.

Among the participants of the virtual Munajat were mosque takmir committee members and congregants from mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide, as well as officers and staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. – Azlan Othman
