The Asy-Syahadah Muallaf Youth under the youth religious programme (PKB) secretariat of the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) organised the ‘Muallaf-Ving Race: Kenali Negaraku’ at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in the capital.
The race, part of the Muallaf Icon programme, was inspired by the concept of the Amazing Race, saw 33 youth participating.
The event featured several stations where groups completed challenges and tasks, including a crossword puzzle, sprint exercises, traditional games, picture guessing and Malay proverb guessing.
The programme aimed to deepen participants’ knowledge of the Sultanate’s history, including Bandar Seri Begawan, while fostering pride and confidence in their identity as Muslims.
It also encouraged teamwork and cooperation among participants, helping to build a strong sense of independence and community involvement.
