The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) and its departments and agencies held a Tedarus Al-Quran opening ceremony at the Brunei International Airport’s surau yesterday, in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan.
This year’s ceremony was organised by the Civil Aviation Department.
The ceremony began with the mass Zohor prayer, led by Surau Imam Haji Mohammad Ashraf bin Haji Bujang. This was followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (Transport) Haji Mohammad Salihin bin Haji Aspar and followed by the recitation of Al-Quran. The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat.
Chief executives, heads of departments, senior officers and officials from the ministry and its departments and agencies were also present. – James Kon
