Baiduri Bank Group and its partners signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for The Baiduri Masters at QAF Auto Showroom yesterday.
The charity golf tournament will be held at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club over two weekends – July 28 to 30 and August 4 to 6.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to four charitable organisations.
During the last edition of the tournament in 2019, BND85,000 was raised for charity.
QAF Auto Sdn Bhd and Brunei Press Sdn Bhd signed on as event and media partners, while MixMedia as creative partner, and Hui Huang Enterprise (YOU-C1000) and Superwater Marketing Sdn Bhd (Rainfresh) to provide hyrdation.
“Our long-time partners and regular sponsors of The Baiduri Masters have had to wait since 2019 for their opportunity to give back,” said Baiduri Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ti Eng Hui during the signing ceremony.
“I am pleased to announce that the spirit of giving back will be flying high once more for the 25th edition of The Baiduri Masters.”
He added, “Thanks again to our partners, sponsors, and friends from the golfing community as these contributions will co-create a brighter future for these communities and families.”
Signing on behalf of Baiduri Bank were Ti Eng Hui and Baiduri Bank Deputy CEO of Business Development Bank Pengiran Azaleen bin Pengiran Dato Haji Mustapha.
Meanwhile, QAF Auto General Manager Alisa Khoo; QAF Auto Marketing Manager Siti Salwa binti Haji Mustapha; Brunei Press General Manager Anafiah binti Omar; Brunei Press Senior Manager of Finance and Operations Suzie Houng; MixMedia Chief Executive Azlan Ahmad; MixMedia Deputy Chief Operating Officer Ana Dzulkefdi; Superwater Marketing General Manager Haji Abdul Hadi bin Haji Yaakub; Superwater Marketing Production Manager William Chieng Leon Son; Hui Huang Enterprise Finance Manager Joan Hii and Huda Hidayah completed the list of signatories.
Participants will be vying for the new Challenge Trophy, introduced to celebrate the 25th edition of the tournament, and the coveted Green Jacket.
