Moulding future leaders

Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), through the Faculty of Islamic Development Management, organised the fourth series of the Islamic Development Leadership Camp (K2P2I) at UNISSA and Kampong Menunggol.

The three-day-two-night programme, from September 20-22, was organised by the student body of the faculty under the supervision of Year 2 committee members.

The participants comprised 49 students from Year 1 to 4 of the faculty.

The programme’s objectives were to train participants and committee members to be more disciplined and to provide awareness on the importance of having leadership qualities in every student of the faculty.

The leadership camp also aimed at raising the students’ confidence and to strengthen ties among the participants.

Faculty of Islamic Development Management Dean Muhammed Sahrin bin Haji Masri was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony.

Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Development Management Associate Professor Dr Anis Malik Thoha, Village Head of Kampong Menunggol Yusup bin Muhammad, Headmaster of Nakhoda Abdul Rashid Primary School Haji Mohd Suazmie bin Haji Zulkifli, and Kampong Menunggol Mosque representative Mohd Zulhafiz Zariq bin Damit were also in attendance.
