Politeknik Brunei (PB) and the Institution of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) Brunei yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at PUJA office, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB).
The MoU aims to establish, promote and develop cooperation between the two parties in the fields of engineering, interior design and architecture.
Among the other areas of cooperation to be implemented are: establishing a PUJA PB Student Chapter, a special organisation for students to get professional opportunities in learning and developing leadership skills; establishing a network of cooperation and mentoring opportunities; and encouraging students to register as PUJA student affiliate members.
The MoU was signed between PB Acting Director Lim Kian Boon and President of PUJA Brunei and PB member Sr Haji Mohammad Hanafi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Abdul Rahman.
Head of School of Science and Engineering (SSE) at PB Haji Mohammad Reizal bin Mohammad Ali and PUJA Brunei represented by its Vice President Ir Chin Lee Tuck witnessed the signing. – Azlan Othman
