In strengthening collaboration between young entrepreneurs and established businesses, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei (YEAB) and the Persekutuan Peniaga-Peniaga Melayu Brunei (PPPMB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at PPPMB’s headquarters on Thursday.

The MoU solidifies a long-term commitment between the two organisations to work closely on initiatives that will empower youth and entrepreneurs at both local and international levels.

YEAB President Goh Chai Li and Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Chong Chin Yee, who is also YEAB Vice President II, represented YEAB, while PPPMB President Dr Haji Abdul Latif bin Haji Chuchu and Deputy President of Economy Rizan Latif represented PPPMB.

Under the agreement, the two organisations will collaborate by involving their members in each other’s programmes, workshops and events. This will increase the impact of initiatives focused on nurturing entrepreneurial talent and business success, while encouraging interaction, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship between experienced leaders and emerging entrepreneurs.

The partnership marks an important step in supporting entrepreneurship, promoting economic development and connecting young professionals.

YEAB and PPPMB aim to create a vibrant ecosystem where established businesses can mentor young talent and entrepreneurs can explore growth opportunities.
