The Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque takmir committee celebrated the participants of the nightly Tedarus throughout Ramadhan with a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony.
The ceremony began with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Ad-Dhuha until Surah An-Nas led by Head Imam
Haji Abdul Malik bin Haji Jumaat of Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque, who also recited the Khatam prayer and Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
The ceremony was enlivened with a Dikir Marhaban by the mosque takmir committee, Muslimah, khatam participants and the congregant.
Legislative Council (LegCo) member Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Suyoi bin Haji Osman presented a contribution of appreciation to the participants of the Tedarus Al-Quran throughout Ramadhan at the mosque. – Lyna Mohamad
