Kampong Pulaie Mosque held a Doa Selamat for six of its congregants embarking on
haj pilgrimage after the Subuh prayer yesterday.
The event also saw Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam deliver a religious talk on three important matters in gaining a mabrur haj (perfect haj). This includes avoiding from rafats – things that are despicable and pointless, from words and conversations whether rude, abusive or obscene, that can lead to negligence or delusion; fusuq – forbidden things and disobedience to Allah the Almighty, regardless of words or actions that are abhorred by the Syara’; and jidal – arguments and fights causing enmity, grudges, hate and resentment among fellow Muslims. – Lyna Mohamad
