The Tedarus Al-Quran Subuh congregants of Kampong Mentiri Mosque held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony yesterday.
Held at the Kampong Mentiri Mosque, it began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Khatam recitation of Surah Adh-Dhuha to Surah An-Nas led by Sanip bin Haji Nasar, who also read the Doa Khatam and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony was also held to enliven the Israk Mikraj celebration and to glorify the mosque with religious activities. – Lyna Mohamad
