A group of congregants from Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Mentiri marked the conclusion of the year 2023 with a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony yesterday at the residence of Al-Quran readers group head Haji Zainal bin Haji Ghani in Kampong Mentiri.
The congregants began with the reading of Al-Quran after the Subuh prayers to glorify the mosque.
“The ummah need to learn from Al-Quran as it is a source of enlightenment and guidance in our daily life,” said one of the congregants. – Azlan Othman
