The Kampong Batu Marang Mosque Takmir Committee recently held a ceremony at the mosque to dissolve the 2021-2023 committee members and appoint new 2023-2025 takmir committee members.
Takmir Advisor Pengiran Haji Merali bin Pengiran Ismail, Mosque Affairs Officer and Chief Imam as Chairman of Takmir Saiful Rizal bin Haji Abdul Ghafar, Imam of Kampong Batu Marang Mosque and Deputy Chairman 1 Muhammad Sharine Hadiman bin Sahari, takmir committee members, the congregation and Kampong Batu Marang residents attended the event.
It began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Muhammad Sharine Hadiman, and proceeded with the recitation of Doa.
The event also saw welcoming remarks from the takmir chairman, followed by the presentation of activity reports, finances and dissolution of the former committee.
Thirty members have been selected to join the new committee.
