The Ministry of Health (MoH) will hold press conferences to update the COVID-19 situation every working day instead of three times per week amid the rise of infections in the country, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar in a press conference yesterday.
The minister said, “Taking into account of the third wave of COVID-19 in the country, a press conference will be held on working days for the public to get the latest information and submit any questions for further clarification.”
Meanwhile, enforcement personnel detected three violations of movement restrictions yesterday.
Locals Md Dimira bin Haji Mahmud, Adam bin Abdullah and Md Sharul Lizam bin Sapar were issued compound fines for violating the stay-at-home directive.
According to the Royal Brunei Police Force, all the violations were found in Brunei-Muara District.
