The State Mufti’s Office at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday handed over BND7,000 in donation from officials and staff of the State Mufti’s Office to the National Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023.
The donation was presented by Acting Director of Administration at the State Mufti’s Office Haji Saiful bin Haji Sulaiman to Acting Director of the Community Development Department (JAPEM) Fauziah binti Mohd Salleh at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in Berakas.
Meanwhile, BND2,269.15 was raised during the Tutong Ethnic Cultural performance night for the humanitarian fund, and a presentation ceremony was held at the residence of Tutong District Officer recently.
Present to receive the donation from the co-chairs of the cultural night was Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, who then handed over to the Secretariat of the fund. – Azlan Othman & James Kon
