MoRA delegation leaves for Kuala Lumpur

A delegation from Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), led by Deputy Minister of Religious Afairs Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan left the Sultanate for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday for the Southeast Asia Ulama Seminar 2022.

The seminar themed ‘Kesatuan Ummah’ sees participation from 1,000 individuals comprising Islamic leaders and scholars from 20 countries.

It is aimed at developing a mutual vision with unity and moderation while also eradicating the threat of extremist thinking as well as addressing political diversity and mutual understanding.

The seminar also serves as a platform to formulate practical programmes, initiatives and recommendations as well as networking among participants.

Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang were present at the airport to see off the delegation.
